Tahirih Vejdani is a Toronto-based voice teacher, performer, and vocal pedagogy specialist known for her warm, empowering, and research-informed approach to vocal training.
With over 20 years of experience as a professional performer and educator, Tahirih helps singers, actors, educators, and creative professionals build sustainable technique, expressive range, and confidence in their voice.
Her private studio supports artists working across musical theatre, classical crossover, contemporary commercial music, and screen performance. Whether you are preparing for an audition, navigating a demanding role, strengthening your technique, recovering confidence, or deepening your artistry, Tahirih’s coaching is always tailored to the person in front of her.

Tahirih brings the insight of a working performer into every lesson. Her multifaceted career includes professional contracts at the Stratford Festival, Grand Theatre, Citadel Theatre, Globe Theatre, Factory Theatre, Tarragon Theatre, and Cleveland Playhouse Square and more, with screen credits including Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Kim’s Convenience, and CBC Gem’s Receiver.
She has also taught at Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program and Randolph College for the Performing Arts, and has worked as a coach, conductor, music director, and workshop facilitator with arts organizations, choirs, festivals, and post-secondary institutions across Canada.

Tahirih holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music History from the University of Regina, as well as an advanced postgraduate certificate in Vocal Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre and University of Wales Trinity Saint David. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Voice Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre and the University of Essex.
Her studio services include vocal technique, performance coaching, audition preparation, vocal health support, and artistic development.
Tahirih is known for her empathetic, equity-informed, and empowering teaching style. Her mission is to help artists access the full potential of their voice - not only for the stage, but for life.
She currently offers virtual and in-person voice sessions through her Toronto-based studio and works with clients across North America.
