Cancellation Policy

Voice Lesson Terms & Conditions I’m committed to creating a supportive, enjoyable, and productive learning environment. These guidelines help keep things running smoothly for both of us. 1. Scheduling & Communication Lessons are booked in advance through the booking calendar, email, or text. If you need to make a change, please let me know in writing (email or text) so we can find a new time if possible. I’ll send reminders when I can, but it’s ultimately your responsibility to keep track of your lesson times. 2. Payment Deposits for single lessons are payable in advance with the remainder due at the end of each lesson. Subscriptions are pre-paid and lessons will be booked according to your plan. Payments can be made via the website, e-transfer or through the emailed invoice link. If a payment is overdue, we’ll pause lessons until the balance is cleared. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and no-show's are charged the full lesson fee. In the case of illness or genuine emergencies, please contact me as soon as you can — I may be able to waive the fee at my discretion. 4. Late Arrivals Lessons start and end at the scheduled time. If you’re late, we’ll make the most of the time we have, but lessons can’t run over. 5. Lesson Format Lessons may be in-person or online based on the option you have selected. For online lessons, please ensure your device, internet connection, and software are ready before the lesson begins. 6. Materials & Recording Any exercises, sheet music, or recordings I provide are for your personal use only. Please ask before recording a lesson — I’m happy to approve recordings for your practice purposes. 7. Practice & Progress Your progress is most rewarding when paired with regular practice between lessons. I’ll give you guidance on what to focus on so you feel supported in your practice. 8. Health & Well-being If you’re feeling under the weather, we can often switch to an online lesson so you don’t miss out. Please follow any vocal habilitation suggestions I provide to help you sing sustainably. 9. Respectful Environment Lessons are a safe and encouraging space. Mutual respect helps us get the best out of our time together. If behaviour becomes disruptive or disrespectful, lessons may be ended without a refund. 10. Teacher Cancellations If I must cancel a lesson, you will be offered
