Tahirih Vejdani is one of Canada’s leading multidisciplinary vocal coaches and performers, known for her dynamic blend of artistry, pedagogy, and care. With over 15 years of experience performing on major Canadian stages and coaching emerging and established talent, Tahirih brings a deep, research-informed approach to vocal training that supports both technical mastery and expressive freedom.

Her private studio is a trusted space for actors, singers, educators, and creators working across musical theatre, classical crossover, contemporary commercial music (CCM), and screen performance. Her current students can be seen in productions such as The Lion King (Mirvish), A Strange Loop (Soulpepper/Musical Stage/Obsidian/TOLive), and After the Rain (Musical Stage Company/Tarragon Theatre). Past students have gone on to perform in SIX the Musical, &Juliet, Waitress (The Grand/Theatre Aquarius), Evil Dead The Musical (Starvox), The Play That Goes Wrong (Theatre Calgary/Royal MTC), and The Prom (Drayton Entertainment).

Tahirih’s multifaceted career includes acting and singing at institutions like the Stratford Festival, Factory Theatre, Globe Theatre, and Cleveland Playhouse Square, with screen credits on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Kim’s Convenience, and CBC Gem’s Receiver. She is also a voice educator and pedagogy specialist, with teaching credits at Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Musical Theatre program and advanced postgraduate training through the Voice Study Centre and University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Tahirih is also completing her Masters in Voice Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre and the University of Essex.

As a coach, conductor, and workshop facilitator, Tahirih has worked with arts organizations, festivals, choirs, and post-secondary institutions across Canada. Her studio services include vocal technique, performance coaching, audition prep, vocal health support, and artistic development — always tailored to the needs of the artist in front of her.

She currently offers virtual and in-person sessions out of her Toronto-based studio and works with clients across North America.
